This is an action adventure CG TV series I worked on it, it was very demanding, the boards were 500 PGs of three panels average, it is a cool looking show, stands on it's own. have a look at this animatic, I hope you enjoy it.

Amazon Tail Beatboards

Amazon Tail is one of my features projects.
Concept:
In the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, Erick a tree poacher, embarks on a wild and magical adventure that transform his understanding of the meaning of life. As the story begins, Erick and his partner Julio, don't care about the destruction of the rainforest, but all that changes when their plane crashes and they are rescued by a young native girl named Yara.
Amazon Tail is an adventure fantasy with many comic moments
similar to "Jungle Book", it is also reminiscent of "Medicine Man" which centers on the importance of the Amazon Rainforest for medicine, environment, also for the aborigines who live in the area and for the world. Yara and her friend Azny a marmoset monkey stand on a branch of a giant tree, they ask the tree permission to pick some of it's flowers. Yara, Kapo her Tapir friend and Azny are chased by Tunko and his troop of red-face monkeys.

Yara faces Tunko the leader of the red-face monkeys in a duel with wooden staves.

Yara, Azny and Kapo see the airplane crashes behind the trees near by.

In the loggers camp the foreman hires a group of mercenaries to rescue Erick and Julio.

Eirck is chased by a pack of angry peccaries.

The animals attack the convoy of mercenaries.

Yara, Flor and Erick release two orphan scarlet macaws into the wild.

In the middle of a lagoon Yara, Azny, Kapo, Flor and Erick in a canoe, watch in awe thousands of colourful butterflies flying around them.

Yara and the Panther, after they free it from a poacher tramp.

Azny challanges Erick(as monkey) to join him into the wild.

After Erick has been transformed into a marmoset monkey he faces The Great Mother.

Erick thanks The great mother.

Erick look for his totem in his initiation as member of the tribe. Erick beats the drum, the wind joins in as the tempo grows

faster and faster sounding like a thousand drums, the wind and the foliage merge into a giant Harpy Eagle soaring high. The giant Harpy eagle flies around and around, faster and faster to the beat of the drum.

Erick falls into the abyss after saving Yara's life.

Erick rides the giant Harpy Eagle made of leaves.

Erick and Yara are guided by a manatee and her calf to a underwater garden, there they collect a medicinal plant to save Julio's life.

This is a rough pass on Yara, Azny and Kapo characters.

This is an inspirational sketch of Azny and Erick as a marmoset monkey.

Silverwing Beatboards

This is a beat board for Silverwing, at that time Bardel studios and Melwoods studios were planning to do a feature.Too bad, it didn't happen, this project had a good possibilities. I think it could be a good film.

Here Marina and Shade get scare at the gargoyle.

This story board is about a group of young bats making fun of Shade who is the runt of the group.

These was my aproach for designs for the TV series Silverwing, they were rejected.
